Following last Saturday’s scintillating display away to Dundee East Girls FC, this week has somehow got even better for our Girls.
Behind the scenes, a closely guarded process had been underway as the club worked hard to secure a new sponsor and playing kit for our Bravehearts. After an agonising 24 hours in which Coach MacDougall somehow resisted the urge to spill the beans, we were finally able to unveil the new home and away strips at training on Wednesday evening.
We were absolutely delighted to reveal the identity of our new sponsor, and with cameras at the ready—courtesy of Coach Esther—the Cross Group’s new volumetric concrete lorry rolled into campus for a very special shoot with our girls.
With the sun shining on us, Kevin, Amanda, Louise, Erin, Nathan and Niamh from the Cross Group proudly presented the Bravehearts with their stunning new kit. The home strip remains in the traditional Breadalbane blue, while the away kit is a striking black and pink number that drew an incredible reaction from the girls when it was first revealed.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the Cross Group for their generous support of our Bravehearts. A special mention must go to Amanda, Louise and Erin for their willingness to back our girls—because at their Dunkeld office, just like at BSYFC… girl power rules!
Kevin Cross added: “We at Cross Group are proud and honoured to be able to sponsor such a great team of girls. The Under 16s are enjoying a really positive season in a highly competitive league, despite the geographical challenges that come with playing across the region. We wish them every success.”
The Cross Group will be well known to many across Highland Perthshire. With expertise spanning groundworks, civil engineering, construction, haulage, plant hire and sales, and with strong roots in and around Aberfeldy, we are absolutely delighted to have the support of such a respected local company.
We hope we can do this fantastic new kit justice and make our new sponsors proud on the pitch.
The new strips made their debut at the weekend as the Bravehearts travelled to Brechin.
