Another brilliant weekend for the Girls Pathway with goals, teamwork and strong performances across all three age groups Rd.
SWF East Region U16 League
Auchtermuchty BC 3–3 BSYFC
A dramatic and entertaining start to the U16 league campaign as the Bravehearts battled to a draw away in Fife.
The girls created chance after chance
throughout the match and incredibly hit the woodwork seven times — unofficially claiming a new “Record Breakers” title for the most times hitting the post and crossbar in one match!
Breadalbane started brightly and deservedly took the lead through Nicole after great work from Katie and Bella. However, two frustrating goals saw Auchtermuchty edge ahead despite the Bravehearts dominating large spells.
The second half saw another strong response. Bella fired home from distance before Nicole grabbed her second to level things at 3-3 after Auchtermuchty had again gone in front. The girls pushed hard for a winner right until the end, with more efforts rattling the crossbar.
Despite disappointment at not taking all three points, the performance showed just how much this squad has developed. The football, energy and belief throughout the team was outstanding.
Player of the Week: Amelia K – strong, committed and excellent defensively throughout.

Special mentions to Kamilla for her strong attacking play and Eliza for some incredible saves in goals.

Another superb morning for the U10s with a brilliant all-round team performance.
