A belated round-up matches before  the Easter break – and what a weekend in tough conditions!

BSYFC 2017 v Pitfour 2017

A great effort from the boys who just got on with it despite the weather - coaches struggled more! 

Positioning continues to improve and they used the ball well against a physical side in a

well-matched game.

Player of the Week: Alexandru – great attitude, teamwork and some cracking goals.

Crieff 2016 v BSYFC 2016

A very wet and windy test against strong opposition. The team showed great resilience, improving their pressing and organisation in the second half.

Big credit to Mylo and Zac stepping in as goalkeepers and making some excellent saves

Player of the Week: Callum – strong defensively, composed on the ball and added a goal

Fair City Reds 2015 v BSYFC 2015

With only 4 players available, Fair City sportingly loaned players to help the game go ahead. 

A brilliant, high-energy game followed with goals at both ends. The boys worked incredibly hard and showed great teamwork despite the circumstances.

Player of the Week: Cormac – relentless work rate and a well-deserved goal

Blairgowrie 2015 v BSYFC 2015 (Blues)

A strong performance in tough conditions with the squad stretched due to call-offs.

Solid throughout the team, with standout performances across the pitch.

Player of the Week: Leona – stepped in last minute and delivered a superb performance

Luncarty 2015 v BSYFC 2014

A slow start but a big improvement in the second half after a change in shape. The team showed strong character, controlling the game with excellent teamwork.

PKYFA U12 (9s)

BSYFC 2014 v Bridge of Earn 2014

Played in challenging conditions against a top side, the team showed great organisation and resilience.

A solid first half saw the team hold their own, with good shape and positive passing. The second half became more difficult as conditions worsened, but the players continued to battle well.

Strong performances across the team, with Jamie making key saves in tough conditions

Player of the Week: Hannah – outstanding defensive display, strong in tackles and excellent in transition

Great effort across all teams in very testing conditions – loads of positives to take into the next block after Easter.
