Another busy morning across the small-sided pathway with plenty of effort, resilience and development on show.
PKYFA U12 9s
Blairgowrie 2014 v BSYFC 2014
A tough away day for the 9s against a strong and physical Blairgowrie side. The first half proved challenging as we struggled to adapt to the grass and get our passing game going.
A much improved second half saw the team raise the tempo, create plenty of chances and show great character to respond positively.
Missing key players made it tougher, but the attitude and resilience shown was excellent.
Player of the Week: Oli – stepped in as goalkeeper and captain, making a number of vital saves and showing great leadership.
PKYFA U11s
BSYFC 2014 v Blairgowrie 2015
A real game of two halves. Breadalbane started strongly, with Finnegan scoring twice after some good passing play. Blairgowrie grew into the game, but Arthur was in excellent form in goals.
Debut for Muhammad, who showed great potential.
Player of the Week: Arthur
PKYFA U11s
BSYFC Blues 2015 v Fair City Blacks 2015
A slow start saw Fair City take control early, but a much better second half performance with improved communication and passing.
With no subs, the boys worked incredibly hard throughout.
Player of the Week: Arran – great work rate, encouragement and sportsmanship.
PKYFA U11s
BSYFC Whites 2015 v Crieff JFC 2015
A tough match against a strong Crieff side. After conceding early, the boys responded well defensively and created some good chances. Low numbers made the second half difficult, but the team kept battling and got a goal back through Arthur.
Player of the Week: Sam – excellent in goal and worked hard when moving outfield.
PKYFA U10s
BSYFC 2016 v Scone Thistle 2016
A challenging game against a strong Scone side. The team worked hard throughout and showed some good moments, but struggled to find consistency against well-organised opposition.
Player of the Week: Frank – outstanding saves and effort in goal.
Following a tough start at Advanced level, the team will move down a level after the holidays to support continued development and confidence.
PKYFA U9s
BSYFC 2017 v Blairgowrie Whites 2017
Another strong performance from the 2017s who continue to improve each week. Good teamwork, passing and attitude throughout the game.
Player of the Week: Henry – worked hard, used the ball well and communicated brilliantly.
Great effort from all teams this weekend.
