⚽ Gutsy Performance by U14s in Dundee ⚽

23/03/2026

11-Aside Pathway Round-Up | Sun 15th March

A quieter weekend across the 11-aside pathway, with just one fixture taking place. The U16s were without a referee, while the U13s and U17s had no scheduled matches.

DDYFA U14 League

Dundee West 2012 v BSYFC 2012

A competitive and entertaining match which narrowly ended 4–3 to the home side.

After falling behind early, Breadalbane responded well to equalise and then take the lead. Despite a strong performance and full commitment from start to finish, it was frustrating to come away without a result as Dundee West edged it late on.

The team pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages, showing great determination and togetherness right to the final whistle.

Three top quality goals:

⚽ Dougie - a well taken early shot high into the net.

⚽ Bella - a cracking strike into the top corner.

⚽ Carl - a strong run, holding off defenders before calmly slotting past the keeper.

Debut: Well done to Ivan in goals, stepping in for his first game.

Standout performances: Bella, Fingal and Robbie all impressed.

Player of the Week: Dougie – a hard working and excellent all-round performance upfront, capped with a top finish.

This squad have shown great resilience, continued to work hard at training and are now consistently turning in solid performances. Plenty positives to take forward into this weekend's Cup tie away at Broughty United.
