Surprise Guest at our Small-Sided Awards

04/03/2026

The Breadalbane & Strathtay Youth FC Small-Sided Awards Evening took place at Breadalbane Community Campus on Tue 24th Feb, bringing together around 150 players, parents, coaches and supporters for a fantastic night of celebration.

We were delighted to welcome surprise guest Eilidh Barbour, who helped present the awards and handled some lively Q&A from the players!

With party food from Bruce Entertainment, music and plenty of proud smiles, it was a brilliant way to celebrate another huge year for the Club. Thanks to Esther for capturing the evening with some amazing photos.

Our membership is now approaching 300 players — with more girls playing than ever before. Quite a change from when Eilidh was at Breadalbane Academy!

Our Social Media this year has been engaging with amazing content thanks to the creative talents of Linzie Rutherford and the match photos from Brian Morrison.

A big thank you to Gregor Ross (Active Schools Highland Perthshire) for his continued support of our schools programme.

Well done to every prize winner — and to every single player who has taken part in training, matches, after-school clubs and holiday camps throughout 2025.

Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, sponsors and long-suffering parents — for the miles travelled, the cold evenings endured, and the emotional rollercoasters along the way!

A final thanks to our Committee — Shona, Julie, Matthijs and Jamie who work tirelessly behind the scenes with the support of Club Development Officer, Scott. We are always looking for more volunteers to help make 2026 even bigger and better.
