SWF 9v9
East Fife U14 2 – 2 BSYFC U14
After a few weeks without league action, the U14 Bravehearts travelled to Leven to face one of the toughest sides in the league. The girls started superbly, dominating possession and carving out several early chances, but East Fife were clinical on the break and scored twice against the run of play.
Just before half-time, fantastic pressing from Amelia H created the opening for Nicole to fire home and pull us back into the match at 2-1.
The second half was all BSYFC. The girls came out with real urgency and physicality, winning tackles, pressing high and pinning East Fife into their own half. The equaliser came from a clever quick throw by Holly, with Bella turning sharply and finishing brilliantly at the near post to make it 2–2.
We pushed hard for a winner, with several chances inches away from going in, before Heidi produced a stunning late save to ensure we took at least a point.
Every player was outstanding — composed on the ball, aggressive off it, and full of belief throughout.
Player of the Week: Alba – strong in the tackle, excellent on the ball, and the key link between defence and attack.
A brilliant team performance and a display full of heart, character and quality.
BSYFC U12s
