11/12/2025

A cold morning across the region but some fantastic football on display as our youngest BSYFC teams closed out their final fixtures of 2025!

BSYFC 2017 (Super 5s) at Berth Park

Great to see 13 players make the journey for the final Super 5s outing of the year. Despite the chilly conditions both BSYFC teams showed brilliant teamwork, passing and finishing from the first whistle.

Players of the Week:

Alexandru – has been close for weeks; superb work-rate, strong tackling and a brilliant attitude.

Leona – outstanding throughout with key tackles, accurate passing and clinical finishing.

This group have made great progress thanks to Coaches Annette and Keith with Ross & Sean also helping to cover.

BSYFC 2016

Unfortunately Crieff were unable to field a team, so no match this week.

Fair City 2015 v BSYFC 2015 (7s)

The Boys headed to the Inch in Perth for their final match of the season. Despite heavy pitches and many carrying coughs and colds, they gave everything.

Breadalbane started strong, dipped slightly in the middle, then finished with real determination. Emotions were high but the boys held it together and showed real spirit and respect for each other and their opponents.

Player of the Week: Leo  – relentless energy, strong tackles and excellent sportsmanship, keeping the team going when it mattered most.

Well done boys — a brave performance to end the season ⚽

BSYFC 2015 vs Scone 2015 (7s)

For their final match before the holidays, the 2015s welcomed Scone to Aberfeldy. The boys produced an excellent performance — working hard defensively and then playing quick, effective football to move up the pitch and score plenty of goals.

Player of the Week: Lewis  – strong in defence, calm on the ball, and started attacks with simple but smart passing.

A brilliant way to finish the year. Coaches - Ally, Tyler & Jane - can now enjoy the well-earned break.

Crieff 2015 v BSYFC 2014 (7s)

The 7s ended their season in style with a superb performance away at Crieff.

Arthur kept a clean sheet with great early saves, while Aidan, Alfie Anderson, and Oli were solid across defence and attack.

Rhuaridh delivered his best game yet with driving runs and excellent through balls, and Robert controlled midfield with real intelligence.

Up front, Bailey and Finnegan were on fire — both scoring hat-tricks ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽. Finnegan added a goal-of-the-season contender, launching a halfway-line thunderbolt into the top corner.

Scorers: Bailey x3 | Finnegan x3

Player of the Week: Finnegan  – constant attacking threat, tireless effort, and that wonder goal!

A big thank you to Coaches Simmy, Cookie, Kris & David for all their hardwork throughout the year.

Players, Coaches and volunteers will now the a well earned break over the Festive period.
