DDYFA U17 League

Breadalbane 7 – 2 Fairmuir

Back to league duty and another excellent performance from the U17s, keeping up their fine start to the season.

After a bright Fairmuir opening, Struan pounced from a corner to make it 1-0 ⚽️,before the visitors equalised with a fine finish.

Theo then slipped Jayden through to restore the lead ⚽️ and a defensive own goal made it 3-1 at half-time.

The second half saw dominant play and plenty of chances. Caleb fired home a classy fourth ⚽️, Struan nodded in his second ⚽️, and Caleb added another header ⚽️ before Theo calmly sealed it late on ⚽️.

DDYFA U16 League

Carnoustie Panmure 2010 6 – 5 Breadalbane 2010

A rain-soaked pitch in Carnoustie produced a lively, end-to-end match.

Ollie grabbed a superb first-half hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ with great assists from Thomas, putting Breadalbane ahead at the break.

A fine cross from Freddie allowed Ru M to slot home ⚽️, but injuries and tired legs saw Carnoustie turn it around late on.

PoTM: Connor – heroic in goal with top saves and brilliant positioning.

Plenty of positives, and the fightback spirit never faded.

BSYFC 2012 vs BSYFC 2013 (Training Match)

A useful in-house friendly gave both squads valuable minutes and lessons.

Coach Matthijs praised the U13s for sharper communication and teamwork, with Wilf named PoTM for superb movement, scanning and passing.

The U14s impressed with confident ball movement and composure, Roddy taking PoTM for another accomplished display.

Great football all round — encouraging signs for both age groups.
