⚽ Small-Sided Teams Round-Up | Sun 9th Nov ⚽

16/11/2025

Another action-packed morning for our BSYFC small-sided squads, full of effort, learning, and plenty of great football despite the wet conditions!

BSYFC 2014 vs Bridge of Earn 2015 (U11)

The learning curve continues for the 2014 7s after facing a strong and well-organised Bridge of Earn side. There were great 1v1 battles all over the pitch, and the players’ tenacity really shone through.

Player of the Week: Lauchlan – left nothing on the pitch and showed real resilience, even when exhausted. Brilliant effort! ⚽

BSYFC 2014 vs Scone Thistle 2014 (U11)

A tough morning for both 2014s teams, building resilience for the future. The first half was competitive, and the players worked hard throughout against quality opposition.

Players of the Week: Alfie Jamieson & Alfie Anderson – both fairly new to football but showed fantastic work rate and determination.

Maria and Jamie also stood out with excellent performances ⚽

Crieff 2015 vs BSYFC 2015 (U10)

A huge well done to the seven boys who braved the rain in Crieff. They played with great teamwork, communication, and determination from start to finish.

Player of the Week: Lewis – edged it for excellent defending and pace up and down the pitch ⚽

BSYFC 2015 vs Blairgowrie 2015 (U10)

A very tough, hard-fought game for the 2015s against strong opposition. The boys were organised, positive, and supportive of one another, staying strong despite tiring late on.

Player of the Week: Sam – superb goalkeeping performance with several outstanding saves.

Leo was a close second for his hard work and great communication.

BSYFC 2016 vs Jeanfield 2016 (U9)

A brilliant home performance from the 2016s against a very good Jeanfield side. The team’s defensive work from training really showed, with great communication, teamwork, and plenty of goals from front to back!

Player of the Week: Mukundi  – outstanding defending and pressing play.

BSYFC 2017s – Super 5s Neymar Team

The 2017s battled through the rain and a long matchday to deliver a great performance! Excellent defending, teamwork, and plenty of cracking finishes ⚽

Player of the Week: Wyatt – strong tackles, solid defending, and rewarded for his hard work with a well-taken goal.

BSYFC 2017s – Super 5s Messi Team

Tough conditions and a heavy pitch didn’t stop the Messi team from showing flashes of great play. There were moments of lovely link-up passing, good 1-2s, and determined running throughout.

Player of the Week: Leona  – consistent effort, great attitude, and real commitment all game.
