U17 Pre Season Friendlies

Another 90 minutes in the tank resulting in a good victory away to Letham Tangies.
A blistering start by Breadalbane saw the ball in the net twice inside the opening 10 minutes only for both ruled out for offside. The fast start continued and we found ourselves three goals to the good after the opening half hour with Caleb grabbing the pick of the bunch! The tempo dropped slightly and with only one sub rotation in the heat was tricky. Letham came back well and ended the half strongly, scoring a screamer just before the break.
Half Time 1-3
Letham were the stronger side at the begining of the second period with some of our lads looking tired. A change of shape restored some control and the match ended in a comfortable victory.

Manager Callaghan was more than satisfied with the performance "We created a bucket load of chances played some very good stuff at times.. if we can be a bit more clinical infront of goal we will be a tough team to beat this season."
Huge thanks to Robert from our U16s for helping the team out with a great game.Well done lad.
MOTM- Euan superb today standing in at centre half, didnt put a foot wrong the whole match. John and Struan (again) deserving a special mention along side Fin and Robert.

BSYFC U17 2-5 Jeanfield Swifts U18

Huge amount of positives to take from the 2009s first game back with all the lads giving everything against a very good Jeanfield side.
Very pleasing to see them match Jeanfield for large parts of the game. Good football on display at times with a couple of cracking goals scored. In the end they ran out of steam but only to be expected with no subs after Alex went off injured after playing a very good opening 20 minutes.
Couple of cracking debuts from new signings Aaron and Theo.. both lads had very good games and look to be great additions to the squad.
MOTM - Jayden with John, Thomas and Struan deserving a special mention.
