Everyone at the Club were delighted to hear that Dougal McAdam was one of five talented youngsters last week who penned their first professional contracts with St Johnstone Football Club.
Dougal McAdam, Cole Voy, Adam Shaeb, Ethan Martin and Callum Boyle signed on the dotted line at McDiarmid Park on Monday with proud family members watching on.
Dougal's first football was played with our 2009 crew! Dad Neil still helps Coach the team which has produced some fantastic football talent - Reece Da Silva (St Johnstone Academy) and Emil Franczak (Dundee Utd Academy). Manager Jamie Callaghan would be delighted if only he could off load some more of his squad....
Dad Neil was a traditional, no-nonsense centre half for Breadalbane FC so clearly Dougal's pace and keen eye for goal come from mum Mairi.
We all wish Dougal and his team mates every success on the next exciting stage of their footballing journey.
