11 a-side & 9 a-side Pathway - Sun 18th May
DDYFA U15 League
Brechin City 2010 1v1 BSYFC 2010
The U15s travelled to face a Brechin City side unbeaten in their last 10 games.
There was a change to the line-up before kick-off due to illness as Breadalbane opted for a 5-4-1 before having to switch to a 4-3-3 after a bad injury to Cameron.
Brechin would open the scoring with the visitors not playing to the whistle. The second half saw Breadalbane come out more aggressive, starting to compete all over the pitch. The team were rewarded with some tenacious work from Ceiran, who got the equaliser. Everyone gave 100 percent effort for a really well deserved point against a top team.
We hope Cameron has a speedy recovery.
PKYFA U12 League
BSYFC 2013 v Bridge of Earn 2013
Another scorcher at Home St, Aberfeldy. From the start, it was clear the squad of 11 players had one goal and wanted to do well.
They communicated clearly but it was their quality of passing that made the real difference. The ball was moved with a good tempo. The opposition tried to go through midfield, but had little success as Breadalbane were switched on. Paul, Wilf and Jacob did really well defensively way but their distribution was also faultless which made a big difference in attack.
The team showed great positional awareness with good technical skills on the ball.
The home side created lots of shots on goals and were only denied thanks to some great goalkeeping from the Bridge of Earn keeper.
There were still some outstanding goals, Nathan⚽️Ethan⚽️Nestor⚽️Wilf⚽️and a cracker by Ivan⚽️.
PoTM was Paul for an all round excellent display. Some timely tackles and quality on the ball.
Thanks to Bridge of Earn Coaches and Players.
