DDYFA U16 Cup
Ferry Athletic 2009 2-1 BSYFC 2009
An agonising away 2-1 defeat that summed up the U16s season. Lads giving their all but not getting the result thanks to a late penalty which even the opposition Coaches didn't think was a foul.
A huge thank you to John and Jimmy for jumping in at the last minute to help us out. Something which is very greatly appreciated.
Caleb scored the goal of the game after some good work by Ben down the right.. a brilliantly delivered cross was very well finished.
There were good performances all over the park, with James, Struan, Alex, Jayden and Caleb deserving shout outs.. but it was Ivan that took the MOTM award with a dominant performance at centre half.
Preparations now turn towards next season and are begining to take shape.

Carnoustie Panmure 2010 1v6 BSYFC 2010
Boys started well pressing loose balls which led to the first goal after Ru caused the keeper to kick it straight to him and calmly volley home. Some real cracking goals scored - Robert running rings round the defenders and cutting in from the left to bending one past the keeper. A couple of strikes from Rhys also caught the eye - one a 25 yd freekick and another smashed into the top right from just outside the box.
No individual PoTM award due to the whole team being outstanding. Well done!

Jeanfield Swifts 2012 8-1 BSYFC 2012
A good team performance against top of the league Jeanfield in a more even contest than the scoreline suggests.
Breadalbane trailed 3-1 at half time after Emma had finished a neat pass from Carl, who had shown good strength to beat two players in the box.
Jeanfield had a good spell at the start of the second half with some clinical finishing. Breadalbane continued to press forward however with several shots at goal. A big thanks to Oliver for stepping in to play with some excellent saves again. The back four played well as a unit with Jamie reading the game particularly well, preventing their strikers getting through, and was awarded Player of the Match. Well done!

BSYFC 2013 v Fair City 2012
Great performance with just 9 players and young Cormac helping the team out. Every player showed maximum effort. A hattrick for Nathan, and great strike and goal for Cormac. He would've had another with a 'Ronaldo-like' volley which surprised the goalkeeper but was denied by a handball. Ethan duly converted the penalty award straight down the middle.
Player of the Week was Cormac for his perseverance and effort.
