DDYFA U16 League
BSYFC 2009 3-5 DUSC 2009
As tough a fixture as the U16s could wish for in their last league match when they entertained the unbeaten league champions and Scottish Cup finalists to Home St.
Despite a bright start from the home team, the visitors would assert their authority and go in at half time with a deserved 4-0 lead.
Given the scoreline, the lads could've taken the easy option and for heads to go down and effort levels to drop. Not so as they produced a rousing second half performance despite the game ending in a 5-3 defeat. DUSC were worthy winners but the boys showed a huge amount of character against top quality opposition as they have done all season.
Every player can be proud of how well they performed. However, for a midfield performance full of composure on the ball and accurate passing, Player of the Week went to Liam.
DDYFA U15 League
BSYFC 2010 2-2 Ferry Athletic
Little to chose between the sides in a match that ebbed and flowed. Both teams searched for a winner in the second half but both came up short.
A real measure of the U15s progress this year is that opposition teams from the top half of the table are finding the visit to Home St increasingly difficult.
Player of the Match was Robert who grabbed both the goals while his first touch and ability on the ball was different class.

BSYFC 2010 1 v 3 Scone Thistle 2010
Another good team performance in a close game. Highlight of the first half was a quick counter attacking goal - a long pass from Brooklyn up the middle to find Zander, who played a perfectly weighted pass through the defence to find Holly who finished with composure ⚽️.
Great sporting behaviour from Breadalbane who agreed to play with 10 players, after Scone who had no subs, lost their keeper through injury.
Team lost a bit of shape as Scone came back into the game, levelled the score and would then go ahead.
Another great performance from Holly, showing 100% effort and commitment, for a deserving of Player of Week award. Well done!
